Importance of Breakfast

It is rightly said that we should eat breakfast like a king , lunch like a commoner and dinner like a pauper. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day as our body needs a kick start at the start of the day. Breakfast breaks the twelve hour long fast between the dinner and the breakfast. During this period our stomach gets cleaned up and all the toxics get eradicated from our body making our metabolism very efficient. It provides energy for the whole day’s work and acts like an energy booster. It relaxes our minds and makes us active and agile for the entire day. It provides essential nutrients like carbohydrates , proteins , fibre and calcium. A study shows that the people who do not eat breakfast are two times more obese than people who eat breakfast. But in the modern times , people , especially students are neglecting breakfast. In this materialistic world , people do not have time to have breakfast as they are running a rat race. They simply miss the breakfast to be on time for work. This results in acidity and deficiency problems. All the children who eat breakfast are bright , healthy , active , well behaved and punctual while those who do not eat have a low physique. All the breakfast boy cotters must understand that there is not any more important meal than the breakfast. Breakfast decreases laziness and lethargicness and increases our IQ and solves all the problems. It makes our mind healthy and as we know a healthy mind resides in a healthy body. It is the foundation of a happy day. A breakfast makes our body as fit as a fiddle. Breakfast have nutritional value that refreshes our body. We can have cereals , vegetables , fruits , eggs , juices , milk , cheese etc. Breakfast a day keeps the diseases away. So , one should always give importance to breakfast in order to stay healthy.
